Spring 2023 Important Dates

Good evening IRCLL families,

I hope all of you had an enjoyable holiday season with friends and family, and I wish you all an amazing new year!

We have prepared some plans for the upcoming weeks of January, which will kick off our Spring 2023 season.

First of note, the tryout dates have moved by one week(please see below) in order to fit in a few clinic nights for players to have an opportunity to attend prior. The new schedule is as follows - all events will be at IRC fields (WW James Park):

January 17, 6pm
Optional Clinic for 11-12 year old players

January 18, 6pm
Optional Clinic for 7-10 year old players

January 21, 11:59pm
Registration for all Divisions closes - this has been extended by 6 days.
***If you have had issues registering your player, please email [email protected] or come to the fields on one of the Clinic nights and we can help answer questions***

NOTE: There will not be a clinic offered for players 6 or younger or 13 and older. This is strictly meant for players that will be participating in tryouts next week.

January 24, 6pm
Tryouts for players 11-12 years old

January 25, 6pm
Tryouts for players 7-10 years old

Weekend of January 27-29
Number of Divisions and Teams will be finalized. Divisions requiring a Draft will be drafted.

January 29-30
Team Managers will reach out to their players. Please make sure contact info is accurate when registering

January 31, 6pm
Meet the Coach Night!

February 1st or 2nd (depending on teams TBD for time)
First Team Practices

March 4, 10am
Opening Day

Please note that this schedule is made with the information we have in hand now, and is dependent on closing out registrations on time. Also, weather may come into play. We will let you all know if any date(s) move, but this is the plan to kick off our 61st season at IRCLL!

Please plan on 2 regular practices per week for the month of February. Practice times and dates will not be known until Managers of all teams are identified.
