Indian River City Little League was started in the Spring of 1962 by community leaders and Mr. William W James. Early fundraisers included Rodeos and Bull Riding. During the height of the Space Race (1967 - 1975), IRCLL was one of the largest Little Leagues in America, supporting over 1,000 players each season. Our complex is named for Mr. William W James. Mr. James was a long time resident and local barber.
